Last weekend CSB held its 2nd annual Girls Grow the Game Initiative as part of World Girls' Hockey Weekend. The result-85-90 female hockey players almost all under the age of 10! At least 60 of these were newbies. Though we were not prepared for sooooooo many, the event was amazing! Music, games, smiles, and fun were all part of an hour of engagement for each and every one of these girls. To add to the appeal, a dozen St. Michael's College Women Varsity Players took to the ice to promote the event. These players were extremely helpful as they energized the girls with their presence and participation. CSB has seen a 100% increase in the number of girls participating who are under 10 this year and now has over 40- girls under 10 who are registered within the organization. |

The Annual Barry Chouinard T-Shirt Sale will take place November 10-11 and November 17-18 8AM-4PM at the VT National Guard Armory Norwich University Campus (Disney Field - By Kreitzberg Arena - Follow the T-Shirt signs). The event is held by the Northfield Amateur Hockey Association and the Northfield High School Boys and Girls Hockey Team. |

I wanted to invite you as a coach or a U10/U12 girls hockey player to an ADM (American Development Model) clinic that USA Girls' Hockey manager Michele Amidon will be putting on. Michele will be flying out from the USA Hockey office, located in Colorado Springs to put on a coaching clinic along with an ADM clinic for some of our young girls here in Vermont.

The Vermont Goaltenders Academy is now accepting registration for this years camp. The Academy runs from September 13 - 16th at Gutterson Field House. See below for registration information... Vermont Goaltenders Academy UVM Women's coach Jim Plumber is going to hold a "Town Hall Meeting" for parents of female hockey players. The 2012 All-Star Hockey Classic to benefit Make-A-Wish® will take place on Saturday, July 14, at UVM’s Gutterson Field House, with the women’s game beginning at 4:00 p.m. and the men’s following at 6:30 p.m. Celebrating its 20th year for men and 15th for women, the Classic showcases all-star high school seniors from Vermont, versus rival New Hampshire players. |
